SouthBridge Europe Mezzanine II SICAR (www.southbridgeadvisors.com) is an investment fund backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments (HDBI).

SouthBridge’s investment in WebHotelier and primalRES aims to form an integrated and innovative ecosystem of technology solutions for the tourism industry worldwide through the further development of existing applications as well as the integration of new ones, and the adoption of an innovative holistic approach to the provision of support services for partner tourist establishments.

After 20 years of continued presence in the tourism software sector, the co-founder of WebHotelier and industry pioneer, Mr. Victor Matsas, is leaving the company by transferring his shares and assuming the role of special advisor to SouthBridge for future investments in the wider tourism sector worldwide.
